Heroes can’t just have suits. They need super suits! In this series, instructor Rich shows you how to take your superhero model and get him or her suited up for action. You’ll take 3D objects and break them down into 2D surfaces, ready for painting, and you’ll learn how to take the painted textures you create and apply them to your model. Let’s get this hero a super suit!
In this episode, you’ll learn how to take the surfaces of your 3D model and break them down into 2D surfaces that can receive a painted texture. Through this process (called “unwrapping”) you’ll get the exact dimensions you need to create your super suit.
